Rewriting the Rules: CDD Practitioner

Why Become a Certified CDD Practitioner?

You became a dog professional because you care.
Not just about outcomes – but about emotion, integrity, and real understanding.
And yet… something never felt quite right.

Behind the tools, the treats, the terminology – the obedience and control –
you’ve seen the subtle signs:

  • The dog who complies but isn’t understood.
  • The anxious owner stuck in endless protocols.
  • The growing pressure to fix rather than connect.

The truth is, something is missing in mainstream dog behaviour work.
And that missing piece is relationship. Emotion. Dialogue. Consent. Safety.

The CDD Method was created to fill that gap.
To return our focus to what matters most: the emotional root beneath the behaviour,
and the relationship that allows change to take place.

Becoming a Certified CDD Practitioner means stepping into a new way of working.
It means learning how to see differently, listen with depth, and guide without control.
It’s for professionals who want to offer more than management – they want meaning.

This isn’t a quick course.
It’s a shift in lens, in language, in everything you thought you knew.

If you’re ready to walk a different path – one rooted in ethics, emotion, and empathy.

Then, you are exactly where you’re meant to be.

What's involved

CDD Practitioner Course

The CDD Practitioner Course led by Bethany Bell, founder of the Canine Dialogue Dynamics (CDD) Method.

It is a guided, immersive learning experience designed to help you rethink canine behaviour from the inside out  – not as something to correct or manage, but as something to understand.

Across this course, you’ll explore the emotional systems beneath behaviour, the language of dialogue over direction, and the ethics of guidance without control. This is not training in the traditional sense. It’s a foundational shift in how you see, interpret, and support the dogs and people you work with.

17 Recorded Classes

Recorded replays and resources inside a private course portal. Over 25 hours of recorded lessons.

Workbooks

Reflection workbooks, emotional insight tools, and case discussions. Written assignments, and interactive learning tools.

Who This Is For

Canine Professionals

This course is designed for dog professionals who want to work with deeper understanding, gentler ethics, and a more dog centric approach to behaviour.

It’s for those who know there’s more to their work than treats, tools, or control — and who are ready to offer something truly meaningful to the dogs and humans they support.

Whether you’re well-established or just beginning your journey, this course will give you a radically fresh perspective, grounded in science, emotion, dialogue, and care.

You’ll feel at home here if you are a:

Dog Walker or Sitter

A dog walker or sitter building daily relationships with complex dogs. Learn how to enrich your client's dog's lives naturally and holistically during walks and within the home setting.

Vet

A vet or vet nurse witnessing behaviour challenges through a clinical lens. Those who are more drawn to the more holistic and natural side of helping dogs.

Rescue & Foster Workers

A rescue or foster worker trying to support healing and trust in the most kindest and effective way. Helping emotionally hurt dogs to build true confidence and learn how to match them to the best homes.
